I am a lawyer, working in international development and human rights. My work involves supporting communities, especially women and girls, in developing countries (in Asia and Africa) to access justice and advance their rights. It aims to strengthen legal systems to protect vulnerable groups and enhance their economic well-being. Through my work I’ve gained insight into some of the circumstances that increase the risk of human trafficking and put victims at risk. I wish to support the Coalition to End Human Trafficking, and help victims in the Ottawa area.
